Histopathological Sledge / Sliding Microtome
Sliding / Sledge Microtome designed for cutting large block of paraffin and resin embedded material including whole organs, for light microscopy. The knife holding clamps allow the knife to be offset to the direction of cut, a major advantage when sectioning large, hard blocks. The microtome, which is very heavy for stability and not usually subject to vibration, can also be used to cut materials from various industrial applications ( wood, plastic, textile fibers).

Physilab senior rotary microtome
Model:HLSI-9 is a highly versatile sectioning device suitable for medical institutions, research & Pathological Laboratories. This microtome has special application for cutting these sections of histopathological specimens. It is ideal for those who want to avail advantages of a rotary microtome at a moderate cost. The entire mechanism stands on a heavy cast iron base ensuring stability and rigidity, its compound slide ways of critical tolerance guide the specimen block. The metal hinged cover housing protects the internal mechanism against dust and paraffin waste, it can be conveniently opened for resetting, cleaning and lubricating. The microtome is driven by a handle which can also be locked. Cutting sections are obtained in different thickness by mechanically operated crank through a lnurled in front of the instrument. The knurled knob is graduated in microns for feed setting and ready reference detent click action ensures positive adjustments in one micron increment. The knife holder unit is equipped with a rotating knife clamp to adjust desired angles for best sectioning. It as forward and backward movement to ensure contact of specimen with the knife and lateral movement to get maximum use of knife edge. Smooth & accurate specimen movement is achieved with the time proven operating principles of the feed mechanism. Travel is entirely independent to the vertical movement of the specimen block. When the feed limit reaches to an end point, it disengages itself. To bring the feed screw back, the vice is pressed slightly and the main gear wheel is turned clockwise till the screw reaches its starting position. All parts are fabricated from selected alloys and the Microtome knife is manufactured from fine grain steel tested to maintain optimum sharpness strength.

Freezing microtome without co2 cylinder
This microtome is designed to the full purpose of accurate and quick diagnosis in surgery and also for the inspection of quality of rubbes and others. It has a table clamping device. The specimen rises accuracy and automatically by handle. The co2 freezing attachment is provided with a hard rubber non-conducting plate between the corrugated surface to which the object is frozen and the rest of the apparatus, which prevents the conduction of heat from the other parts of the apparatus to the specimen; thus saving time and co2. In operating this freezing attachment the valve at the bottom should first be closed and valve at the cylinder slightly opened to admit the gas into the tube. The automatic feed mechanism can be thrown out of action by turning the index finger to the extreme left or it may be set to cut sections of any desired thickness.
